It started over 30 years ago when my folks bought me my first 1979 Trans Am as a youth. The first time I sat in the seat, I was hooked. I built a combo race and show Trans Am out of my Gold 79TA and when on to build several more over the years.

Today there are reproduction parts available but we feel that every original piece removed and replaced takes a piece of sentimental history away from the cars. I like to know that when I sit down in the driver seat in one of these cars and put my hands on the grip and arm on the console that its the same exact part that was in the car back when it left the factory and gave someone joy. To remedy this we spent a lot of time with a lot tests and research and development to come up with solutions to revive and grow plastic as well as fix everything broken back to new. We have mastered this well therefore we produce real quality. Randy Combs (Trans Am Dash Bezels Only)

What started out as a hobby to take my mind off of coaching in basketball crazy Indiana has evolved into a small business that has put me in touch with hundreds of Trans Am enthusiasts and restoration companies all over the world. I traded my ’76 Firebird in on an ’80 Trans Am Pace Car that I drove until starting a teaching and coaching career in the mid 80′s.

My 40th birthday present to my self in 2003 was a 76 Anniversary Edition that I had searched for over the course of two years. Like virtually all of our Trans Ams, upon purchase the bezel in my 76 SE was showing its age. Trans Am Dash Bezels Only grew out of that situation.

Through many trials and errors and utilizing the feedback from Trans Am owners, I became a self-taught engine turning specialist. I made the financial commitment to build a shop in 2008 to streamline the dash bezel restoration process so I could better meet the demand. Operating only by word of mouth between Trans Am owners who I worked with, and through the occasional bezel sale on the various forums, I have now restored over 600 dash bezels for Trans Am owners.

I have had several clients win “best of show” awards at the annual Trans Am National Car Show in Dayton, Ohio. Perhaps, the greatest compliment I have received over the years has been numerous repeat customers who have used my service over and over.
